2nd Saturday Official IDPA Club Match
Thunder Tactical Shooters host an Official Club Match on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Thunder Gun Range. Sign-in begins at 8:00am and we begin shooting at 9:00am. Monthly match cost is $18.00 ($10 range fee per gun & $8 match fee), and everyone is invited to come out and compete. These matches normally conclude between noon & 1:00pm.
Wednesday Night "Fun/Practice" Match
We shoot a Wednesday Night "Fun/Practice" Match every week! Come join us for the only weekly outdoor evening event in the Houston area. Sign-in starts around 5:45pm and hammer down is at 6:30pm. Please try to be on time so we can finish the match before it gets too late! The cost of participation is $15.00 ($10 range fee per gun & $5 match fee). We shoot five to six (6) stages/scenarios, which typically ends at 8:30pm.
5th Saturday Practice Match and Classifier
We also host a Practice Match and Classifier anytime there is a 5th Saturday during the month "except for Memorial Day weekend". We will hold the Classifier on Monday of the Memorial Day Weekend. Sign-in begins at 8:30am and with hammer down at 9:00am. This is a non-sanctioned practice match or special event. Cost is $18.00 ($10 range fee per gun & $8 match fee), and everyone is invited to come out and participate. Shooters can request TTS to put on an IDPA Classifier Match on other days and we will make every attempt to coordinate more of these.
Carbine Match
TTS also hosts a Carbine match at Thunder Gun Range on the first (1st) Sunday of each month. All Sunday matches start at 10am. Sign ups start at 9:30am. Come out an join us for some exciting carbine shooting action. The cost for participation in the carbine match is $18. ($10 range fee per gun and $8 match fee).
